My client, a well established group of companies based in TechnoPark Stellenbosch is seeking to employ a Facilities Manager to join their team and manage the various properties within the group. Project Management and or Facilities Management background coupled with 2 years experience in similar role essential. Duties will include
MAINTENANCE: buildings and premises
- Management of the buildings’ maintenance programs.
- Oversee maintenance team progress and inspection duties.
- Project planning.
- Project Management: Supervises activities and work of contractors.
- Manage daily operations and assist in resolving challenges.
- Collection of quotations and payment of invoices.
- Collection and review of SLAs.
- Manage municipal accounts.
- Planning: Annual budget
- Provide monthly maintenance report to EXCO.
HEALTH AND SAFETY (H&S):
- Maintenance and administration of company security policies and procedures.
- Manage and maintain I-Manage H&S System of all sites.
COIDA Registrations.
- Conduct and assist with risk assessments of buildings and premises.
- Handle incident/accident investigations.
- Conduct annual H&S audits.
- Presenting H&S Inductions to new staff.
- Preparation of H&S committee meeting.
- Serve on the COVID-19 committee.
- Planning: Annual budget.
- FLEET
- Manage maintenance, services and inspections of the fleet.
- Tracking System: Manage and monitor the fleet.
- Manage the purchase of new vehicles/implements.
- Handle vehicle licences, registrations and traffic offences.
- Manage traffic fines.
